When I first started gardening, I bought a couple of 'Endless Summer' hydrangeas, loving that blue color. Being a novice gardener, though, I didn't realize our soil isn't acidic enough to keep the blue blooms--it took me a long time to understand why my hydrangeas turned all pink:)
