It's very big, and I don't think it has ever bloomed, while HE had it :-) He's good to his flowers, but just the usual care with water an fertilizer. My question - if this is a Dendrobium - should I change the pottingsoil with orchid bark, leca or maybe something else.? What do you recommend ?
Thank you in advance for an answer :-)
MajbrittAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27385862.post-15251716554306163092013-11-15T09:16:39.675-07:002013-11-15T09:16:39.675-07:00Love this. Soaking the roots - I'll have to give that a try!!
I have one orchid remaining of the myriad that I would plant-sit for my former mother-in-law. Once they grow a shoot, I give them back to her.
JaneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27385862.post-13544928073277613122013-11-14T18:23:25.370-07:002013-11-14T18:23:25.370-07:00I would like to try these sometime but am basicall...I would like to try these sometime but am basically chicken. The original blooms have gone and they now are trying to bloom again, so I am going to give them some miracle grow when I soak them this week. I have never soaked them. I just ran water though the pot until it ran out the bottom and then let them drain until no drips came out the bottom. I guess I have been lucky and they continue to grow!
Sandy Freeonoreply@blogger.com
