Gigal Gardens are awesomely disturbing!

It's the oddest place down in Salt Lake City - but I find it charming in a very weird way. :)

Been there!!!

You got some great shots of the most interesting rocks. Are these from your archive, or do they really have those lovely purple flowers still growing???

Great pics of the garden Kate. The Friends of Gilgal Garden prefer "Unique " rather than "weird". But I find that it is "unique" to the point that I don't like to garden there alone;-) If anyone wants more information you can check out the details at www.gilgalgarden.org

I've been meaning to get up to SL and visit. I always thought the sculpture was more of a refined folk art, which allows for some weirdness.

Yup that's weird all right. lol But I love the large round stones stacked in a doorway fashion.

You can't say that is boring. Wowsers.

I don't think many people could carry that off in their gardens. But this works.

Odd... and oddly captivating...

Beautiful shots of an artistic and creative place.

Wow, what a cool place! But there is something a little disturbing about those disembodied faces and feet:)

I wonder if the artist tossed them about or arranged them just so? Very interesting.

Ok that is wierd with a capitol W but I like it! In fact I'm surprised at how much I like it. The stone used is beautiful.
