Hats Off to Vermont!
1 down... 49 to go! States, that is... :-) Congratulations to Vermont for stepping up to the plate and passing mandatory GMO labeling.
Why is this such a big deal? Because 80% of the packaged foods we buy in grocery stores already contain GMOs - and there are no product labeling regulations in place to tell us the truth.

Every little step forward IS a step forward! :-)
Woohoo!!
So does that mean all products made with GMO ingredients too??
Because that would be almost everything made of corn and soy, wouldn't it?
I found you comments on K. Bluegrass most interesting. I just did a review on a book about the tallgrass prairie by J Madson who indirectly also condemns our manicured lawns. I've reduced min by about 90 percent and converted our property to mostly woodland wildflower...:)
I agree, all food should be labeled. I hope other states follow Vermont's lead.
I am with you. I wish it was mandatory for all of them. Have a great weekend Kate.
