Death of the Garden

The last of the Pincushion Flowers, blooming late October

Cushion Spurge: Not sure what I love more about this gal ~ pretty spring blossoms or colorful fall foliage.

A for Effort: Primrose is budding!

Cerise Yarrow gets a late start, blooms well into November (unless, of course, the weather ruins her plans.)

Oooooh, so sad! I think you should call it the 'long sleep' or 'final efforts'...

My season is completely over.

I see dead things out there....

Gone but not forgotten....your garden was lovely this year and will be even better next. Looking forward to it.

I guess a title like death is a bit dark, isn't it? I'm sad to see this planting season is over... :(

I agree that death is a bit too final a condition to apply to a garden, which almost always rises again, spring after spring.

Agreed, Granny and Jan - I suppose that's too harsh. I must have been in a Halloweenie mood when I titled it. :)
