Hi, Gail; Red Butte is a wonderful collection of gardens in the Salt Lake valley. They have a seed collecting day (which they probably do to keep all of us from pilfering seeds throughout the season!) Anyhoo, I'm growing some beautiful stuff in my gardens, thanks to them. And, surprise, surprise, I collected the seeds legally. :D
Hopefully we will get some fresh snow tonight! Looks like a good place for snowshoeing etc. I am not sure if the Colorado Rose potatoes were developed for mountain growing or not. I will have to do some research there. Rosey

Also re: the hankie comment over at Just-a-mere. DSis has a hankie collection that is really something. She's been hoarding them since she was in grade school. I have lots, too, but not like hers, and she finds the best ones ever. We love our hankies.
Hi, Joey! I loved seeing your lake escape captured on such a pretty winter day. In Minnesota we always called it 'up at the Lake,' (even if we were driving south to get to our lake cabin.) Is it the same with Michigan folks?

Great pictures! Was that a statue of a moose and her baby in the creek? Don't like the snake (ewww!) but the one with the red berries is gorgeous!! Poison ivy--could thing they labeled it or someone might stick their hands in it...what's this? LOL

Wow. Good to know. The poison ivy sign was across an icy stream. If it had been closer I might have stood near the sign for a laugh. I'm glad someone has a head on her shoulders. :)

The Winterlandscape is very different from Summer. But, it has it charmes and mysetries as well.
