for some reason I have never found a tulip fest around my area :( I must be content with photos such as this and neighborhood gardens, and my own. Mine have a mysterious way of moving around??? I even found some across the road , down a bit , but right off the shoulder... if my gardeners are going to help, they should at least keep them in my yard! LOL. my mystery plant game continues this week:) Faythe @Grammymousetails
Gorgeous! All your spring bulbs are beautiful, especially when it doesn't seem that long ago that you were still buried under snow:) Hooray for spring!
Oh, I am so drooling! I've seen some of the most awesome tulip displays in Salt Lake in spring. (I've never been to the festival in Washington, but one day...)
By the way, your comments the last couple of days have really, truly cracked me up. I think we truly are in need of a Ride the Rockies on Horseback!!!
beautiful, i love tulips especially that last photo with all the colors of the rainbow...hard to believe you have snow flurries again...that must be frustrating :(
Hi Kate thanks for your visit to my site. We are living in really very different worlds, i cant imagine how it is like in your part of the world, always cold! But the flowers are everywhere and people will always appreciate them whatever they may seem like. I noticed those you have are similar to those in other temperate climes, but your flowery weeds are maybe unique. I am looking forward to see unusual flowers from your marginal lands. thank you
I rambled through Thanksgiving Point in fall a few years ago and it was wonderful (though a bit warm for this northern woman). Hope I can catch the spring show in person sometime soon. We don't have any large public gardens like that up here...unfortunately.
Kate, lovely tulips! Mine are just starting. I like the pics of the CFOs - Gloria
ReplyDeleteI didn't make it out there this year. Thanks for the post.
