Kate girl ... is it one of those water filled jackets/cones .. you put around tender plants .. ie tomatoes .. to protect them from cold and frost ?? Joy : )
Cool, creative guesses, one and all! In reality the pic is not nearly as interesting.
Hanging in the corner of my hotel room, (the Nines) was a 4 foot long crystal lighting fixture. I just stuck the camera inside the crystal hangy down things, clicked, and this is what I got.:)
Oh, I s'pose I should have waited a wee bit longer to post the answer but your guesses were SO much more creative than the picture's origin. I thought it best to spill the beans. ;D
Very creative and beautiful! I also really love your new spring header - gets me excited for all the flowers popping up. I think I will have to find some new pictures to take for my header as well. Here's to spring!
Thx, Everyone; Glad you liked it. It's always fun to download photos since I'm the quintessential point and shoot girl. Half the time, I don't remember where I've been. And, I never know what I'll see once I import them into the computer.
Carol ~ So nice to see you up and about in the blogosphere. Here's to a speedy recovery. :)
I vote a spider's web spangled with dew.
ReplyDeleteGood guess!!
ReplyDeleteYou're not even close, but it's still a good guess. :D
It's a black hole with a light shining from the great beyond... or not...
ReplyDeleteI vote for the center of a flower, Alcea?
ReplyDeleteI have not a clue. I am going to let my brain work on it for a bit...not that it will help.
ReplyDeleteChristina, my dear, you've picked a favorite flower of mine.
ReplyDeleteCaite, I'll pop over to your blog in the a.m. [when my tired brain is working] and fill you in.
Jan -- you're getting warm. But what kind of black hole could it be??
Not enough coffee yet to guess -- but very cool shot....

It has to be that place where all of my dead flowers have gone. LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a beautiful picture Kate.
Wow. You had me going. I almost wish you hadn't given it away yet. I was going to guess the inside of a kaliedoscope... Cool shot!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting shot! I'm glad you posted the answer; other than a supernova a ten billion miles away, I was coming up blank.
ReplyDeleteNot anything plant related--I feel a little cheated! But cool pic.
