3 Cheers for the Plumeria Blossom!
I forgot all about the fact that today is the 15th, Garden Blogger's Bloom Day. Time to show off our gardens. Since I hadn't gotten around to photograph anything I was planning to skip it.
Until this very minute, when I walked into the house and saw this!!!!
My little Hawaiian Plumeria giving forth her first flower! On the 15th no less! How cool is that?
* Carol of May Dreams Garden created this monthly tradition. Visit her to meet other gardeners who are on the ball with such things.

ReplyDeleteShe's a beauty!
Great flowers. I tried plumeria at 9,500 ft with no luck.
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting! Unexpected blooms are the best.
ReplyDeleteThat cutie has a loud beckoning voice, Kate! Happy mid (please stop racing) June :)
ReplyDeleteAwww I want to grow Plumerias. Where do you get them, do you order online? It's impossible to grow them outside since they won't survive in our climate. Plumerias are one of my favorite flowers including Orchids and Bromeliads. I love Hawai'i!
ReplyDeleteShe must have known it was Bloom Day! That is one cool bloom.
ReplyDeleteYou might not have gotten photos of your own garden, but the irises from your tour of Marilyn's gardens are spectacular! I've never seen irises like these before; absolutely gorgeous.
Yay!- ah, that special feeling when something marvelous happens - some seeds I sowed sprout say - always seems like a miracle to me. Difficult to explain to non - gardeners, I find! Congrats on your plumeria's wonderful bloom!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute bloom! I need to go check out those other blooms in your previous post.
ReplyDeleteBless her heart!
