Wordless Wednesday: Riding the Sahara

This little bit of the Sahara is actually located in New Mexico, USA ~ White Sands National Monument. I just got home from warming my bones down there!

And, this horse is a rescue. {Who seems completely delighted with his new owner.}

You were in my neck of the woods! Well, in my younger days. I grew up in Alamogordo, and White Sands was our beach! Gorgeous photos!

Gorgeous photos. The rescue horse does look really happy. Don't you love that? I bet you had a great time warming your bones. Now if winter would hurry up and go away... :)

You always have the best vacations. What a lucky horse to get an owner that gives it a good ride.

What a beautiful scene! At first I thought this was snow, not sand:) So happy the rescue horse has found a new home--he certainly looks happy, too.

White Sands is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, in my humble opinion!

The desertscape is really spiritual to me. I always bring back some sand with me. Beautiful pictures.
