This little bit of the Sahara is actually located in New Mexico, USA ~ White Sands National Monument. I just got home from warming my bones down there!
And, this horse is a rescue. {Who seems completely delighted with his new owner.}

Sigh. How beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought it was snow the sand is so white. What gorgeous photos and a gorgeous happy horse.
ReplyDeleteOh I could so use that ride. It is so cold here. Thanks for sharing and such wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteYou were in my neck of the woods! Well, in my younger days. I grew up in Alamogordo, and White Sands was our beach! Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. The rescue horse does look really happy. Don't you love that? I bet you had a great time warming your bones. Now if winter would hurry up and go away... :)
ReplyDeleteYou always have the best vacations. What a lucky horse to get an owner that gives it a good ride.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scene! At first I thought this was snow, not sand:) So happy the rescue horse has found a new home--he certainly looks happy, too.
ReplyDeleteI thought you didn't live in Maui...lol.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.

White Sands is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, in my humble opinion!
