Bitter Root

Lewisia

Lewisia -- aka Bitter Root. I've never seen one in the wild but they are, allegedly, Rocky Mountain wildflowers.

This little cutie (flowers approximately 1 inch wide) is growing in my rock garden.

* Zone 5. They are very sensitive to overwatering.
