Lookin' for Love

Heart-shaped rocks are more common than you'd think.

If you go for a walk today, look down, not up.

Try to find a heart-shaped rock. I've been collecting heart-shaped rocks for years! It's a warm, fuzzy feeling to spot a heart rock, just lying there, quietly, waiting to be noticed.

And, they're way more common than you'd think. I find one nearly every time I'm out exploring a hiking trail.

So, get out there! And, start lookin' for love!

P.S.
Happy Valentine's Day. :)

My Mom was good at spotting "hearts" when I was growing up....all I could find was spuds. Well, it was Idaho.

Kate, these photos are dazzling. Really, really nice. They make me feel happy and hopeful that spring will be here soon. As soon as the snow melts, I'll start looking for heart-shaped rocks. Right now I'm still busy checking out the animal footprints in the snow. HVD to you.

I shall have to see if I can find one in England.

There is a heart shaped snowflake on my latest post. I'm afraid to say that I hadn't even noticed it until someone left a message about it. Collecting heart shaped snowflakes may prove more tricky to store ;-}

Kate, I have some like that in my arrowhead collection, yours looks like those usually made by the Indians.

You have quite a collection of hearts. I'm going to start checking out the rocks and see how many hearts I can find.
