Domenica nel Bressanone

The Abbey of Novacella
It's Pink!

Today, we were snooping around this stunning Abbey, on the outskirts of Bressanone, South Tyrol, Italy. Just a short bike ride from my apartment. I could go on and on about this but their website (click the world Abbey above) does a much better job.

One of the simple pleasures I'm sharing with my old friend Bev (who is fortunate enough to live here, year 'round) is visiting a new coffee spot every morning. The Abbey is definitely on the list. ; > )

* Domenica nel Bressanone = Sunday in Bressanone. This is the small Italian village where I am living, and working, for the month of February.

You little world traveler...sounds like you're having fun.

The Abbey of Novacella - garden tours (in season), wine tasting, a pub, shops. Oh, and all that fabulous history. Don't get lost in that complex, you'll never find your way out.

Enjoy.

Wow, what a special month you're going to have. I'm impressed with the Abbey. Is the coffee in Italy more tasty than here in the states or is it just enhanced by all that lovely scenery?
